KW Glee is an outstanding youth pop show choir that performs live in southern Ontario. Artistic Director Amanda Kind and Producer/Music Director Steve Lehmann who were originally inspired by the hit television series Glee created the group and continue to manage it. KW Glee is built of the region’s top young performers aged 9-13 (junior) & 14-20 (senior). In just 12 weeks, the group prepares a full 2-hour concert with choreography and a professional live band.
Original music is a big part of KW Glee. KW Glee has worked with multiple Juno and CCMA nominees Jamie Warren and Giselle Sanderson as well as JP Sunga and Mark Pelli from the hit group Magic!. There are nine singles written for and recorded by the group that are available on iTunes and all other major online retailers with some proceeds going to support local charities.
In 2015, KW Glee celebrates its fifth anniversary. The group performed with the KW Symphony at Kitchener’s prestigious Centre In The Square to rave reviews and recently won the title of Grand Champions at the national Show Choir Canada competition.
