Client/Student Cancellation Policy

There is a 24 Hour Cancellation Policy. Please let me know at least 24 hours before your session if you need to cancel or reschedule. 

I am purposefully lenient with my cancellation policies. I work really hard to be respectful of my students schedules and I expect the same respect in return. I have high demand for my sessions and if I don’t have at least 24 hours’ notice of a cancellation, I can’t fill the spot. Everyone has access to the schedule through the student portal, so if you need to change your lesson, feel free to cancel your current booking and sign up for a spot that is more accommodating to your schedule. You’ll notice available sessions on the calendar. This has to be done at least 24 hours in advance. If there are no spots available on the online calendar that work for your schedule, please email me.

If you are cancelling due to last minute illness, I will accept a cancellation within a 24 hour window; in that case, we will schedule a make-up lesson within four weeks. Please remember the full rate is charged for any lesson that is canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice that is not related to illness. I prefer as much notice as possible. No shows are considered a forfeited session.

Student Lateness Policy

If the student is late for a session, the time the student has missed will be sacrificed, and the lesson will need to be paid for in full.

Teacher Cancellation Policy 

If I have to cancel your lesson for any reason, I will schedule a make-up lesson as soon as possible. For students who have purchased lesson packages, we will find a mutually agreeable time to make-up the session. If a mutually agreeable time cannot be scheduled, I will refund the lesson that I cancelled. 

Teacher Lateness

If for some reason I am late, it will not impact the lesson time of the student. The student will receive the full lesson time allotment or the added time will be made up at an alternate time.

Fees

Session fees are payable in advance of the session, preferably 24 hours in advance. Payment can be made by e-transfer or by credit card. There will be a 3% surcharge on credit card payments.
