vocal coaching
your voice is unique and worthy
Let’s dispel the myth that only the chosen few should create, sing, and write songs. Everyone can sing. Everyone can be creative. Everyone can write music. Give yourself permission to create. There is no criteria for creativity.
I hear stories all the time about people who want to sing/write/create, but at some point they were given the impression that they couldn’t sing, or that they were bad at writing songs. You have to write many “bad” songs to write something good. And there really are no “bad” songs.
As an artist, you learn by doing and practising. After a lot of time held back by perfectionism, I have realized you only get one life, so every day I do my best to throw judgment to the wind and lean into creativity. I encourage all of my students, friends, and fans to do the same. You do not have to be “professional” to be an artist. There is no age limit. There is no invisible test of worthiness. All our stories and voices are valuable and worthy of sharing.

session location
Sessions are held either online via the Zoom platform or in person at my home studio in Waterloo, Ontario. I work with clients all over the world, so most of my sessions are virtual.
Virtual voice lessons offer the same benefits of in-person lessons. All you need is a good internet connection and a computer, iPad, or smartphone with a built-in video camera and microphone.
Availability & Commitment
Flexibility is important to me. I do not require students to commit to weekly sessions. Students can request to book a single coaching session to work on a specific piece or technique, or they can book a block of lessons. I often recommend that new clients start with a block of 4 to 8 bi-weekly lessons so that there is time to see incremental change. There are lesson schedule options weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly for those who wish to book multiple sessions.
I often book up at least one month in advance. Please submit your request for lessons as soon as possible. Thank you!
